How does it work?

Alkaline Water Ionizer machines are designed to work as water electrolyzers, involving an electrochemical process in which water is split to form hydrogen and oxygen via an electric current.

Water is then siphoned, and one side of the machine will contain water that has increased levels of hydroxide with a higher pH. (i.e. more alkaline), and the other side will contain acidic water.

Step 1 : Filtration

Tap water enters the ionizer where sediments and microorganisms
are filtered by the machine’s dual filtration system.

Step 2 : Electrolysis

The filtered water then flows through the ionizer’s electrolytic cell,
where positive and negative icons are separated to create alkaline
and acidic water respectively

Step 3 : Ionized water is produced

Alkaline water is dispensed from the hose at the ionizer’s top and acidic water is discharged from the bottom spout.
